How Does a Change Manager Conduct Change?

The Change Manager can be likened to:

The conductor of an orchestra – bringing in each resource at the right time and blending their outputs to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.
A train conductor – ensuring the safety of all those on board and making sure they board and alight at the correct destinations
A conductor of electricity – getting the power to those that need it to energise the change
A lightning conductor – protecting the team from the destructive power of disruptive outside influences.
